CGC-105 Comb Generator Overview
• A stable reference signal source for verifying conducted emissions measurement systems.
• Output consists of a fundamental frequency and its harmonics.
• Simulates an EUT generating conducted EMI noise.
• Plugs directly into the LISN’s EUT port.
• High output impedance allows use while the LISN is connected to an external power source or removed from power.
• Conducted output levels are close to or above most CISPR disturbance test limits.
• Powers by rechargeable internal NimH batteries, eliminating the need for external power cabling.
• Provides continuous use for up to 23 hours when fully charged.
• Regular checks using a Conducted Comb Generator can prevent measurement errors between calibration intervals.
